Well after leaving my job of 2 Years I find myself now working harder to make my own company survive. I am also a lot happier and less stressed out. I have found Zeeland City Rescue and enjoy doing that. My girlfriend and I will be together 1 year next month so that is exciting as well. So with all of that said this new chapter is in my life is awesome.
Something that erks me is that companies think that they are more important and that you should not run a medical or car accident call for a fire or rescue department. I just cant figure that out... If it was them in trouble and they were sitting there trapped in a car would they be wondering where is the Rescue squad. While we all sat at work going well you said we couldnt leave.
So if you are ever a employer work with the EMS and Fire departments they are not gone that often and when they are they are making a difference. Plus if you have a Rescue guy on stay you just made a Safety team :)
ok enough bitching about corporate companies.

So I find myself sitting in Security Fundamentals wondering why am I actually at school. I already have a company started and have a decent job. So why do I go? I guess it is because I would be the first to graduate with a degree in my family. My college is also paid for so that is part of the pull to go. Maybe to make my family proud of me. Could be that everyone else is doing it and you are expected to if you are going to make anything of yourself. Or maybe it is a bit of all of those.
Ok enough back to class.
