Great news for PC Gamers:
1. Assassin's Creed is finally coming out for the PC!
2. Mass Effect is finally coming out for the PC!
Bad news for me:
1. Assassin's Creed's minimum requirements are ridiculously high. I wouldn't be able to play it even if I managed to link all three of the computers in my house together into one super machine.
2. I'm not sure what the min. specs required for Mass Effect are, but I probably won't be able to play it either.
I guess this means that it's finally about time to consider an upgrade. I'll probably upgrade when I can find some place to put a new PC, and then wait until the aforementioned games decrease from their probable $50 price tag.
Fears:
I'm worried that somehow Mass Effect will end up Vista only. I heard that there will be no more Vista only games, but then I also remember that Microsoft had paid to have Knights of the Old Republic's PC release delayed a few months. So yeah, I'm a bit concerned.
Why? Because I do not want to upgrade to Vista. At all. I've seen, and despite it's neat features, I think the cons outweight the pros. It looks like a failed attempt to rip off of the Mac OS.
